Mercedes-Benz Debuts High-Tech Diesel Car for U.S.

ANTONIO, March 18 / -- Mercedes-Benz is debuting a new
diesel-powered car for the U.S. market.
The company will market the E320 CDI, as a highly
fuel-efficient diesel version of its successful E-Class sedan.
The E320 CDI is scheduled to make its market introduction in
the U.S. this spring as a model year 2005.
The
new high-torque diesel engine is quiet and gets impressive fuel mileage,
also achieving lower exhaust emissions than previous diesels.
The turbocharged six-cylinder powerplant will feature full
electronic fuel injection, considered technically impossible on a
diesel until only a few years ago.

“3 –B’s” and AAA and Evenflo want parents to learn it.
Evenflo(R) and AAA have teamed up to promote booster seat use
for child passengers ages four and up.
The "Put Big Kids in
Booster Seats" effort urges parents to keep their child
passengers safe by learning the "3 Bs". Motor vehicle
collisions are the leading cause of death and injury among children.
Proper booster seat use reduces a child's injury risk by 59
percent.
